Facial Pain
The most common being the trigeminal neuralgia (the trigeminal nerve is a peripheral nerve that is located in the side and cheek of the face, when it is irritated or damaged it might cause extreme pain) , is a pain condition affecting many patients. There are multiple reasons why trigeminal pain can be triggered, such as a herpes infection or a traumatic injury of the trigeminal nerve.
At our centre we can treat trigeminal neuralgia with radiofrequency and have successfully treated many patients with gasserian ganglion stimulation (ganglia: thickened nerve ends in which peripheral nerves connect with the central nerves)
